Needing guidance?
In addition to therapy, I also provide consultation services for therapists.
Consultation comprises elements of both supervision and business coaching, dependent on a person’s needs.
Consultations are individual and as needed. They are not intended as a 101 level training for individuals or groups, and are not a replacement for supervision for licensure, or ongoing continuing education.
Consultations are best suited for:
Therapists working with LGBTQ+ clients, who already have an existing foundation of knowledge,
and would like focused feedback and support on a particular case or concern
For LGBTQ+ therapists working with cis or straight clients, but who would like the support and guidance of a queer therapist
For LGBTQ+ therapists building private practices who would like guidance navigating the business
and administrative pieces of this work
For LGBTQ+ folks navigating their identity in the context of being a therapist or a private practice owner

Fees for Individual Consultation
$150 for a 50 minute session for fully licensed professionals
$100 for a 50 minute session for pre-licensed professionals
Pay What You Can Option:
I want to help improve access to quality consultation for therapists. If you are unable to afford the standard consultation fee, I offer a pay-what-you-can option. This is determined by you, based on what you can afford. One option may be to pay what your own hourly rate is.

Relevant Information on Working with Me
I have lived experience as a queer person, as well as 11 years in various leadership, training, and supervisory roles.
- 11 years post graduate degree
- 7 years of providing various LGBTQ+ 101 trainings at agencies throughout the Hudson Valley
- 7 years providing leadership & supervision in an interdisciplinary team including therapists and caseworkers
- 5 years in private practice
- 5 years of supervising BSW interns
- 3 years teaching at the college level
Additionally, I participate in my own ongoing learning, including required continuing education as well as other intentional professional development. I continue to actively participate in various peer supervision groups, and seek paid supervision, consultation, & business coaching as needed.
All of these efforts allow me to continue clinical learning and stay aware of best practices as a therapist and private practice owner, while maintaining my own personal connection to queer and trans community and culture.

A Note on Lived Experience & Emotional Labor
I encourage folks to seek consultation with therapists of lived experience whenever possible, which means that while I have extensive experience working with trans & non-binary clients, I am happy to point you in the direction of trans & non-binary therapists who provide consultation in this area.
Marginalized & oppressed folks, including gender & sexual minorities, are often tokenized and expected to be the “go to” regarding their specific identity, which results in unpaid labor. It is important to compensate people for their expertise and experience, and also important to seek this from people who have a desire to provide these consultations.
