I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist, providing support and guidance to LGBTQ+ folks who often don’t see themselves represented in the world around them or reflected in their search for the right-fit therapist.

While I regularly help folks work through depression, anxiety, and trauma, we also freely discuss other topics that might not otherwise feel comfortable, including sex, faith, and the impact of diet culture.

Nothing is off limits.

Hi! I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Heather, a therapist and clinical social worker.

From the Hudson Valley to the Chippewa Valley, I provide therapy through telehealth for clients living in New York state and Wisconsin.

Looking for a therapist who is a part of the LGBTQ+ community? That’s me!

Therapy

I work with adolescents and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and loss. I also specialize in working with LGBTQ+ folks. I’m on your team--we will work together to help you find a sense of relief.

Having lived experience as a queer social worker, I know how hard it is to find therapists who work with LGBTQ+ folks on purpose and with intention, rather than as a passing happenstance. The majority of my caseload is comprised of LGBTQ+ folks.

Consultation

I provide both Clinical Consultation and Practice Building Consultation services to other therapists. I am passionate about providing this support and guidance, from doing deep dive case consultations, to brainstorming how to build and develop a practice in which you feel like you're doing your best work!

I have specialized experience in working with queer, trans, and neurodivergent clients, as well as in developing a thriving private practice as a queer therapist. I have 12 years of experience as a therapist and am also well-suited to provide general supervision.

Groups

I facilitate two support groups for therapists.

The Therapist Support Group is an eight week group providing a dedicated safe space for therapists to share the good, the bad, and the ugly of their week, among fellow therapists.

The Body Doubling Documentation Group is a virtual, weekly, as needed group for therapists & other professionals who benefit from the presence of another person to complete documentation and other tasks.
